Laundry Service® is a denim repair and customisation initiative created to bring life back into the jeans you no longer wear.

Most of us have denim sitting at the back of the wardrobe — pieces that no longer fit quite right, feel dated, or have been set aside because of wear, damage, or changing taste.

Nearly three-fifths of all clothing ends up in incinerators or landfills within a year of being made, with Less than 1% of textiles and clothes are genuinely recycled into new textiles and clothes. 

And by extending the average life of clothes by just nine months, £5 billion in resources used to supply, launder, and dispose of clothing, would be saved. This is a very real problem, with a very solvable issue.

Laundry Service is a project by Lillies Studios focused on extending the life of those garments. The workshop offers a wide range of repair and customisation options, from bleaching, dyeing, distressing, and mending, to adjustments in shape, size, and fit, alongside embroidery and considered design details.

Each garment is developed through one-to-one consultation, ensuring a clear understanding of the wearer’s vision. Every piece is worked on individually, by hand, and finished as a one-of-a-kind garment made specifically for its owner.
